How to Create the Google Review Link (With & Without Profile Access)
If you're a local business owner and want to share or embed your great Google reviews on your website to attract more customers, you can create a link to the reviews without accessing your Google Business Profile. In this article, I will explain how to create the link so you can start sharing your positive reviews with the public.
What is the Google Review Link?
The Google review link is a URL you can share with your customers to request reviews.A Google review link helps collect genuine Google reviews in one place. Regularly collecting reviews builds trust and boosts your business's credibility, just as removing fake, defamatory, or unfair reviews does. These are key steps to improving your online reputation and eventually ranking higher in local searches.
The link directs your customers to a specific popup URL that allows them to start writing the review immediately, reducing friction and increasing the likelihood of them completing the review.
You can include the Google review link in places where you have your customers’ attention, such as thank you emails, chat interactions, and receipts.
Now, I want to share 6 methods to get the Google review link quickly. Some require access to your Google Business Profile, while others do not.

- Click "Manage now" or "Sign in."

4. On your Google Business Profile dashboard, click the "Ask for reviews" button.

5. Copy the URL from the popup and share it with your customers through emails, social media, SMS, or WhatsApp messages.
Tip: If you remove "/review" from the URL, you can share your direct Google Business Profile link.

Another way to find the Google review link is through the Place ID. The Place ID is a unique identifier for each Google Business Profile. To find the Place ID, follow these steps:

The long code between the apostrophes is the place ID of the business.

There are many ways to shorten a link and make it more user-friendly. You can use free or paid link shortener or plugins.a. Link Creation Method 1: WordPress
For WordPress users, I recommend downloading the Pretty Links plugin. It makes it very easy to create a short link and track clicks directly from your WordPress dashboard.

b. Link Creation Method 2: bit.ly
Bit.ly is a free link shortener that allows you to create short links within seconds. While the links may not look as professional as those in method A, they still look much better than a long URL filled with random characters.
Here’s how to create a review request link with Bit.ly:
- Visit bit.ly.
- Paste your long review link into the search field.
- Click on "Get your link for free".

4. Copy the link and share it with your customers

2. Create a QR code
QR codes enable customers to leave a review without clicking any links or typing in any URLs.- Visit a site like qr-code-generator.com
- Copy and paste your review link into the box

The tool enables you to do much more than create QR codes. You can also brand your code and design it so that it better reflects your business.

NFC cards word similar like QR codes. However, they don't even require you to scan anything. All your customers need to do is tap their phone on the NFC card. This alone will open the review window where they can start writing a review for you. You can link all kinds of web pages or social media accounts to those cards; It doesn't necessarily has to be a review request link. You can buy those NFC review cards in different designs and styles on AliExpress.
