GBP transfer

Please advise on the following situation:
A Dentist has a personal GBP listing at the practice address where he is employed in US. The practice had created the listing. He is currently serving his notice period before leaving. The Practice had access to this listing but now requires verification. The practice would like to rename the listing to reflect the practice’s name. They already have practice listing. What should the next steps be?

Hi! You will not be able to have a second practice listing at the same address with the same name and phone number. When a practitioner leaves, it's possible to take the business listing to a new location where he/she will act as a practitioner again. Does that answer your question?

The dentist should transfer ownership of the personal listing to the practice. They can do this from their Google My Business account by adding the practice’s email as a manager or owner.
