i am facing issue with my website "Best Dietician in Delhi – Personalized Nutrition Plans for a Healthy Life"
it is working fine but facing google indexing issue.
when i check the index status in semrush website. it shows your website '406 Not acceptable"
because of this. My website ranking not improving. 3 months back it was ranking in top. but don't know how and when this error started persisting. my website ranking also now going down and down.
can you please help me how can i solve "406 Not acceptable" this problem.
yesterday i updated following code in htaccess file
<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>

still getting 406 not acceptable error in semrush index status check.

 

Hi! Thanks for joining us! First of all, can you please go to Google Search Console and test your indexing status in there? Semrush is a third party app and might not provide you with the same analytics Google could provide you with. So I would check the indexing status in GSC first before I take any action. 406 is a very rare error and if Google shows everything is fine I wouldn't further worry about it.

Sounds more like a server, firewall, or ModSecurity issue than an SEO issue. If Google is indexing pages fine but SEMrush gets blocked, check security rules, hosting logs, and user agent restrictions before changing more .htaccess settings.
